The Convair B-58 Supersonic Bomber is my entry. I was part of the design team in 55 now I hope to model it by 05. Stand-off scale about 1/24.

I think I have the wing worked out, it is version 3. I plan to use carbon fiber rods to provide the structure in the wing to support the “turbines” (nacelles/motors). I will also use the rods as a wing jig because the wing must be built upside down to accomodate the pylons supporting the “turbines.”
When I worked on the 58 I remember the government being upset that the Revell plastic model was so accurate. So I purchased the model and will cut it in sections, enlarge them on my scanner and use them for guides while I sand styrofoam to shape.
