لأن احنا إلى الآن ما فتحنا الكتاب ولا حلّينا فيه أي شيء!!
دكتورنا قال لنا الكتاب تركوه ما معاكم فيه شي الا بعض الصفحات …

101 Mid-Term Exam.
Two of the three exam passages will be made available to students about 24 hours before the exam. They will be posted on the 101 students’ course Blackboard page and will be made available to 101 teachers to upload onto their sections’ BB page.
MIDTERM EXAMINATION 15% (MTE)
The 101 MTE is multiple-choice and tests reading, vocabulary and grammar. (Typically, there are 45 questions to be answered in 75 minutes.)
PART A: READING
The exam will contain three reading passages two of which will be pre-released shortly before the examination to give students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the content. One of the exam readings will therefore be previously unseen. Questions will be those used in the teacher’s own reading quizzes, such as comprehension, reference, identifying main and secondary ideas, skimming, scanning, and so on.
PART B: VOCABULARY & GRAMMAR
The vocabulary to be tested will be derived from three sources:
(1) The Academic Word List (sub-lists 1 to 3); (2) selected chapters from the 2nd ed. of McCarthy & O’Dell’s vocabulary book (chapters 8, 9, 23 and 26) which correspond to 61, 64, 69 and 70 in the new 3rd edition; and (3) any vocabulary arising from the pre-midterm composition component (ie definition and causal analysis).
For grammar, probable test items include those points covered in the Remedial Work component before the midterm, ie relative clauses as used in sentence-length definitions, subject-verb agreement, and pronoun-antecedent agreement. In addition, structures arising from the rhetorical modes dealt with before the midterm in the composition component (definition and causal analysis) could also be included in the exam.

انا عندي سؤال عن الريدنق الي بينزلونه
انا سمعت انه مب نازل لطلاب الأوريا الي نزلوا المادة , لأني سمعت انه الطلاب عنده سكشنين سكشن من المدرس وسكشن من الانستركتر … هل هذا صحيح ؟… اذا كان صحيح من وين القى الريدنق ؟
علما اني ارسلت للمدرس حقي ايميل بس للحين ما رد …
